  1. I've got 4 of these and 3 made my top 10 (dry the river almost did). I must get the Bill Fay one as my boss also keeps on recommending it.

    I need to give Canada ago as I've only read the frank novels

    I've got to pull you up on including films you havent seen yet!!

    1. Love the Bascombe books; just reading Ford's debut from late 70s 'A Piece of My Heart' which is totally different fare... narrative, dirty Americana noir etc...
      Yup, I did neglect the cinema in 2012; must remedy.
      I'm in the studio so am falling behind on albums; will sort soon...

  2. I have half of these.I bought Gretchen Peters after you and Tim raved about it and it doesn't dissapoint . Also love the First Aid Kit abum .Hard to believe they're two young Swedish sisters. They make a lovely noise.Included 'Emmylou' on the compilation I've just posted to you.
